One of the many things that all humans have in common–from the beginning till the end–is that we all need to drink. What purer drink is there than water? Allah (swt) created water as an essential to all life and, today, you have a chance to provide someone with that blessing.

So the next time you are at home with a family member, get up and get them some water. Try to do this before someone at home asks you. This can even “work at work”. Most work places have a cooler somewhere in the building. Go grab a

cup for a colleague. Oh, and one more thing–bring yourself some water too. That way, the person won’t feel awkward.

Always remember: Purify your intention, do this for the sake of Allah, and Seek your reward from Allah (swt). Do this and, Insha’Allah, you will see this deed that you did on the Day of Judgment.
