Abu’d-Darda’ reported that the Messenger of Allah (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, “Anyone who memorises ten ayats from the beginning of Surat al-Kahf (18) will be protected from the Dajjal” (Riyad as-Salihin by Imam An-Nawawi 183 #1012). The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wa sallam) gave us a shield against the Dajjal. Are we going to use it?

Mu’awiya ibn Qurra said, “I was with Ma’qil al-Muzn when he removed something harmful from the road. Then I saw something and went over to it. Let’s start with a clear order from Allah (swt):قُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِمْ وَيَحْفَظُوا فُرُوجَهُمْ ذَلِكَ أَزْكَى لَهُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ

A lot of new converts face hard times and struggles. Their new faith may be causing them to lose their friends and or family. And sometimes to make it worse, they find it hard to find some new Muslim friends. It is our duty to help them and shower them with kindness and care, so why not begin with a gift?
